The Outdoors As An Accessibility Solution Briefing Book examines barriers that people with disabilities experience in trying to get outside and policy options to mitigate challenges through the following generalized categories: 1. This briefing book was written by Meryl Luoma-Mannisto, who served as NCEL’s 2025 Capstone Fellow in conjunction with Colorado State University.
