NCEL’s seven Working Groups provide lawmakers with opportunities to learn and collaborate on policy issues ranging from climate action and plastic pollution to wildlife conservation.
NCEL’s Working Groups allow state legislators to dive deeper into specific issues. These gatherings create opportunities to learn from other state legislators, facilitate discussions, and provide legislative updates and issue-specific resources.
Working Groups provide several opportunities for legislators to learn and connect each month including policy sessions to discuss legislation, member-led discussions about specific issues of interest, and informational webinars with subject matter experts. We generally aim for Working Groups to meet at least once a month.
