Environmental and climate education is internationally recognized as a key solution to climate change, conservation, and sustainable economic development. Climate education can directly promote youth opportunities, equity, and wellness in the short term, and can promote lifelong time outdoors, conservation stewardship, and sweeping economic growth in medium and long terms.

Environmental and climate education is largely decided by states. This webinar was hosted in partnership with the North American Association for Environmental Education, and the U.S. Green Building Council and included a panel discussion covering: (1) the current landscape of environmental and climate education, and (2) what state policy options exist to promote environmental and climate education for a sustainable, equitable, and climate-resilient future.
