Camille Norton (she/her) is from Mandeville, Louisiana. She graduated from Louisiana State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University. She previously interned in the Office of Management and Budget, serving in the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs Natural Resources and Environment Branch, organizing and meeting with outside stakeholders and assisting in reviewing and evaluating energy and environmental policy regulations. Prior to McCourt, Norton worked for Louisiana Budget Project (LBP), a non-profit that monitors state government spending and how it affects Louisiana’s low- to moderate-income families. Through LBP, Norton analyzed state demographics by congressional district and compiled statistics regarding participation in government programs to produce District Fact Sheets for the state. Outside of work, Camille loves playing with her dog, Stephen, a boxer-red heeler mix.
