New Hampshire Enacts Wildlife Trafficking Ban

Yesterday the New Hampshire Governor signed Senator David Watters’ wildlife trafficking bill into law. This bill prohibits the trade of endangered species products such as elephant ivory and rhino horn. While interstate wildlife trafficking was outlawed by the US, it is up to individual states to limit trade within their borders. The ban goes into effect on January 1, 2019.
