Rory Anderson is an environmental storyteller, and she serves as the Digital Coordinator for NCEL. Her passion for connecting people to nature was kindled while guiding canoe trips in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Previously, she was a project analyst for the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources, a naturalist at Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center, and a field researcher for the United States Geological Survey and Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. She received a B.A. in Biology from St. Olaf College and a Master’s Certificate in Environmental Education and Sustainability from Antioch University of New England.
Rory grew up on the prairie in western Minnesota but has come to call the Northwoods home, where you can find her reading, identifying lichens on hikes, or swimming in Lake Superior.
